The Importance of Homeschooling During The Pandemic

COVID-19 has been rampant since the end of February 2020. Since that time many schools have modified their schedules or have closed temporarily for the safety of their students' health.

 

Recently, lawmakers have been pushing the agenda to re-open schools even though the virus is experiencing a second surge. The second surge appears to be worst than the first outbreak.

 

There are some parents who are still sending their children to school when ill. Also, due to the properties of the Coronavirus there are instances when visible symptoms are not present. Therefore a parent could most likely send a sick child to school that may result in infecting other students.

 

This is why homeschooling should be considered and taken more seriously. As long as this pandemic keeps spreading in rapid numbers the children are at risk.

 

Unlike adults, their immune systems have not been properly developed and they are at times inept with following certain protocols with regard to health issues.

 

Partly because they do not want to be thought of as geeky or simply because they may forget frequently. In such a time like this, we believe it is prudent for parents to consider Homeschooling at least until the virus is completely under control.
